The Apollo team just announced new details about the improved ‘Vampire V500 V2+’. The Apollo team reworked the internal layers that will probably enable higher clocks. Now, 140.29MIPS on X14 clock! There is a modification on the headers to support much better connectors that will ensure stable connection to the Amiga motherboard. I/O expansion header with support for WiFi module (AP, client mode) and tiny improvements on video-out again regarding internal layers. The Apollo is an affordable accelerator board product line for Amiga Classic. It uses the Apollo core which is a code compatible Motorola M68K and ColdFire processor but is 3 to 4 time faster than the fastest 68060 at time. It also brings Amiga Classic near to Amiga NG by bringing video through HDMI with millions of colours. Artwork by Apollo team.
