The ‘Mandala’ is the early version of Microsoft’s Kinect or Eyetoy from Sony. Launched in 1991 and exclusive available on Commodore Amiga computers for only $495. This low-end VR system came with several programs and games, and proved again that Commodore Amiga had a leading position in the early 90’s. The company also launched complete VR system in 1992-93 based on it’s own hardware for over $ 15,000. The Commodore Amiga version is a rarity and the software never got cracked, very unusual in the Commodore Amiga market.
