A revitalization of the Amiga platform will cost about 10,000,000 US Dollar, said Trevor Dickinson during the Amiga Ireland Meetup 2017. However, it would be necessary that all patents and trademarks would come under one roof, instead of the current state of affairs where most of the intellectual property is scattered across many owners. The trademark Amiga and AmigaOS are still valid until summer 2018. The good news is that A-EON Technology still has a ‘plan B’ for a more limited comeback of the Amiga platform. Comparing the magic number of 10,000,000 US Dollar to the billions of US Dollars Microsoft and Apple and other IT business is very limited but would bring more stability to the current situation and gives more room for supporting  software development, future hardware research and marketing.
