AmiGameJam is a annual game creation contest in the Amiga community, which has been a huge success in previous years, providing creative developers a chance to sharpen and prove their skills. The games can be coded or built with game creation software such as SEUCK or Backbone. The AmiGameJam 2016 theme was “TV Shows and Movies”. The winners of this contest are the polish developers ‘R3D Project’ with Bridge Strike inspired by the classic game River Raid on the Atari. Bridge Strike comes with amazing graphics and typical cool 80’s tunes. The game also had 2nd place in the game dev compo at RKLE 2016. The game comes with 42 levels, in 4 different worlds such as a forest, winter, city and desert scene. The second place for the AmiGamejam 2016 contest goes to the shoot-em-up “The Last Starfighter” by Amiten software.
