Several Italian magazines reported that Cloanto (best known for Amiga Forever) will release an ‘Amiga Mini’ computer in 2018. Paul Andrews CEO of Retro Games ltd. says it has made an exclusive agreement with Cloanto. The Amiga is a family of personal computers sold by Commodore starting in 1985 until 1994, and was revolutionary for it’s time thanks to it’s unique chipset structure that offered amazing graphics and sound capabilities. Since the demise of Commodore, various company’s  have marketed successors to the original Amiga line, including Genesi , Eyetech, ACube Systems Srl and A-EON Technology. Likewise, AmigaOS has influenced replacements, clones and compatible systems such as MorphOS and AROS. Belgian based Hyperion Entertainment CVBA holds exclusive rights to further develop AmigaOS and has released several versions (AmigaOS 4.0, AmigaOS 4.1 and updates) for AmigaOne PowerPC based computers by A-EON Technology.
