openSUSE Tumbleweed is a good, solid, stable Linux distribution with a wide range of desktops available. It is not anything particularly exotic or unstable, and it does not require an unusual amount of Linux expertise to install and use. None the less, Tumbleweed has an undeserved reputation for being unstable. Christian Zigotzky released a new image of openSUSE Tumbleweed 20190521 for the X5000 and X1000 a few days ago. The distro is optimised for AmigaOne PowerPC computers.
