From Amiga to Steam: Roguecraft’s retro journey continues

Developer Badger Punch Games has announced that their beloved Amiga title Roguecraft is making its way to Steam. The upcoming PC release is being published in partnership with Thalamus Digital. While a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, a brand-new trailer showcasing the game running on Steam has been revealed. Originally launched for Amiga computers in 2024, Roguecraft has been ported to Windows PC, maintaining the retro charm. Speaking about the transition, Badger Punch Games said, “Roguecraft has been faithfully ported to PC, preserving its authentic retro charm while bringing the experience to modern systems. Whether you’re a seasoned roguelike veteran or new to the genre, Roguecraft offers a respectful, tightly designed experience for all adventurers.” The Amiga version was widely praised for its immersive atmosphere, vibrant pixel art, and solid gameplay mechanics. Built around a casual turn-based system, Roguecraft is a love letter to classic dungeon crawlers. Players will explore monster-filled dungeons, discover hidden rooms, experiment with mysterious potions, and tackle unpredictable encounters. The game features three distinct playable heroes, each offering a unique playstyle and special abilities.
