NetSurf 3.11 has been released for the Amiga 68K eco system. Originally made for RISC OS, NetSurf has become a lightweight, open-source browser now available on many platforms, including Linux, Windows, and AmigaOS 4 PowerPC. This release is especially important for classic Amiga users still using 68K systems. NetSurf 3.11 offers support for HTML4, CSS2.1, secure HTTPS connections, and basic media rendering. While browsing Facebook or YouTube directly remains out of reach for most standard setups, NetSurf makes many lightweight, text-focused, and static websites surprisingly easy to access. To run NetSurf 3.11 on an Amiga 68K system, you need at least a 68030 CPU, but a 68060 or a Vampire accelerator (68080) is strongly recommended for a better experience. It supports compatibility with both AGA and RTG graphics, although RTG with Picasso96 drivers is preferred for best performance.
