A new Protracker clone has been released on Aminet and Sourceforge.net! ProTracker was released in 1990 and allows the users to create sequences of notes called patterns, which are chained together to form a complete song. Music created in ProTracker uses the MOD file format. It is among the first programs that allowed for widespread creation of music without studio equipment. It was popular for amateurs and professionals. Some of the added Protracker clone extras are.

* WAV sample loader/saver
* Sample hand editing tool
* Low-pass/high-pass filters in the sample editor
* The ability to render the song to a WAV file
* The ability to render a pattern to a sample (useful for making drumloops and such)
* Full support for 128kB samples (many Amiga PT routines are broken with >64kB samples)
