unity-removes-legacy-opengl-support

With the new release of the popular game engine Unity 5.5, support for legacy OpenGL has been removed. This means games built for this popular open game engine will only have access to the modern OpenGL System. This new release also includes Unity Editor 5.5 for Linux. A lot of new features have been included in this new release. Added support for Microsoft Research Head Related Transfer Function (Spatial Sound) targeting Windows 10 and UWP. This HRTF solution can be used for any Windows 10 application and works best with VR/AR and head tracked headphones. High Detail view in the CPU Profiler Timeline. Shows all profiler samples without filtering. Animation Window box tool. This allows far simpler moving, scaling, and even ripple editing of keyframes in both Dopesheet and Curves. You can download the 5.5 version on the website of Unity
