Programmers Alexander Kneer and Tobias Abt, sold Picasso96 intellectual property to a joint ownership between Hyperion Entertainment and Individual Computers GmbH. Hyperion and Individual Computers have assured that they will continue to support both the classic Amiga and next generation systems as well. They plan to integrate P96 into upcoming new OS releases. The Picasso96 is the RTG device driver library set used by the Picasso IV and other graphics boards. Its development was started in 1996 by Village Tronic, and it is compatible with CyberGraphX. AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition has already integrated RTG functions directly into graphics.library.
