Ján Zahurančík, Author of AmiKit just announced on Facebook that AmigaKit X is coming to Linux. This modern reinterpretation of AmigaOS classic is offering over 380 pre-installed Amiga programs & games, offering a high-end AmigaOS configuration without the need of hours of configuring. The Overall design of AmiKit is refreshed, including new visual themes, icons and other graphics from artist Ken Lester. With tons of improvements under the hood (the system now boots 50% faster, for instance) and new or updated programs, AmiKit X represents the most complete classic 68k Amiga experience on any Linux distro.
