A new initiative have sparked sensation in the Amiga community with a upcoming ARM based AmigaOS variant in development in Norway. Amiga programmer and pioneer Jon Aasenden started a new ‘conceptual’ project to revive the AmigaOS legacy for ARM based devices such as the Rapsberry series and the operating system would be based on the Ultibo kernel (not Linux). Starting a new operating system from scratch is off course a big job and could take ‘years’ but the developer(s) are motivated.
