You may have noticed some recent changes to Generation Amiga. Our website is currently undergoing a period of transition as we prepare to celebrate an exciting milestone: our 10th anniversary in just two weeks. Ten years is a long time in the fast-changing world of online publishing, and we cannot deny that our beginnings were far from perfect. However, we have learned a lot along the way and are now committed to improving significantly in the coming months. Over the past decade, the journey has been filled with both challenges and achievements. One of the hardest moments was experiencing a major cyber-attack that resulted in the loss of more than 1,000 articles, including valuable interviews and unique historical content. Despite this setback, we continued to grow and to serve our community of readers who share a passion for retro computing and gaming. Looking ahead, we have made the decision to expand the content of Generation Amiga. While the Commodore and Amiga heritage remains close to our heart and will always have a strong presence in our work, we aim to expand our focus to cover a wider spectrum of retro gaming. This change will allow us to reach a larger audience while still respecting the legacy that brought us here. As part of this process, around 300 articles have been removed because they no longer fit with our redesigned editorial direction. The remaining articles will undergo careful revisions to ensure higher quality and relevance. This transformation will not happen overnight, but we expect the transition to be fully completed by early 2026. To our loyal Commodore and Amiga readers: please do not be alarmed by these changes. With a little patience, we believe you will see that this evolution will enrich the magazine and benefit everyone.
