NMK’s two-player Bomb Jack Twin arrives on consoles today

Hamster Corporation brings NMK’s 1993 platformer Bomb Jack Twin to modern consoles via its Arcade Archives series, following the recent reissue of Touchdown Fever. This updated take on Tehkan’s 1984 classic Bomb Jack—already available in Arcade Archives—features enhanced graphics, audio by composer Manabu Namiki, and simultaneous two-player action. Players control superhero Bomb Jack, jumping and floating to collect colored bombs across famous tourist sites, now joined by his twin sister for co-op play. Bomb Jack Twin retains core mechanics from the original: dodge enemies, grab bombs in sequence for bonuses, and clear stages by collecting all explosives. Power-ups like the “P” item turn foes into coins for extra points, while lit bombs offer high-score potential when prioritized. Stages end upon full bomb collection, blending simple controls with addictive score-chasing. The game launches digitally today, January 15, 2026, on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
