Beta version of Mortal Kombat 2 HD Remaster released

Indie game developer ‘Denis’ has been working on an HD Remaster of Mortal Kombat 2 in MUGEN. The developer is using AI tools in order to enhance the original 2D sprites of all fighters. You can download the beta version using Google Drive and the game is only available for Windows PC. Mortal Kombat 2’s source code was temporally available on GitHub, until lawyers from Warner Bros. issued a swift DMCA takedown notice. Mortal Kombat II, which was released to arcades in 1993 and by late 1994 for Commodore Amiga was better than the original in every way possible. It was faster, sleeker, smarter, allowed you to be more reactive, had more characters, more fatalities, cooler bosses, and bigger ideas. It resulted in first-week sales of more than $50 million, which was more than Forrest Gump and The Lion King earned during their opening weeks that same year. For a time, it was one the highest-selling video game of that era. Downloading this software is at own risk, under no circumstances shall we be liable for any loss or damage to your computer system.
