And the remakes are falling as meteors from the sky! Today a remake of a good old Amiga classic: Turrican. Turrican was one of those games that made a huge impact when it came out. Originally developed and released for the Commodore 64, it was later on ported to various other systems including the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST. X-Zero by Paranoid Cactus comes really close to Turrican and offers cute pixelated graphics and sound effects. The mission is simple, fight your way through an infested base, collect weapon power-ups and hack every terminal in the facility to gain access to the Hive Mind’s chamber. The game is available on macOS, Linux, Windows and Raspberry Pi.
