LibreOffice is still in development for AmigaOS 4.1 and AmigaOne computers. A-Eon Technology announced some time ago that a new closed beta test program of LibreOffice for AmigaOS 4.1 to a small sub-group of existing A-EON beta testers has been initiated. However, project manager Hans-Jörg Frieden had to start from scratch again because of several issues with AmigaOS, the new port is based on the Android version of LibreOffice. The LibreOffice suite comprises programs for word processing, the creation and editing of spreadsheets, slideshows, diagrams and drawings, working with databases, and composing mathematical formulae. It is available in 110 languages. The LibreOffice Extension Repository lists more than 280 extensions. More extensions and scripts for LibreOffice can be written in C++, Java, CLI, Python, and LibreOffice Basic.
