Nvidia Could reach deal to acquire ARM for $32 Billion from SoftBank

Nvidia is mostly associated with its successful graphics cards, but the possible acquisition of ARM has the potential to take it beyond just graphics cards. ARM’s processor architecture could allow Nvidia to have a far bigger reach than rivals Intel and AMD could ever imagine. Altough not official, SoftBank Group, the Japanese conglomerate could be selling ARM for $32 Billion in the near future. ARM does have nearly 1,800 licensees, which drive a revenue stream of $2 billion a year in licensing fees and which is the envy of any open or licensable architecture in that regard.
