Quake Arcade Now playable on Windows 10

Quake engine offered full real-time 3D rendering and had early support for 3D acceleration. But did you know that Quake had a arcade cabinet version also? ID Software collaborated with a company called Lazer-Tron in 1998 to produce Quake Arcade Tournament Edition, an arcade port of the classic FPS. However, due to difficulties in development, Lazer-Tron cancelled the project and only made twenty arcade cabinets. The game was never playable on PC, despite the fact that the cabinets housed 486 computers. However, GitHub user Mills5 resolved the problem and fixed the dongle protection issue.
