Forget Kinect, Commodore Amiga used Mandala in 1991

The ‘Mandala’ is the early version of Microsoft Kinect or Eyetoy from Sony. Launched in 1991 and exclusive available on Commodore Amiga computers for only $495. This low-end VR system came with several programs and games, and proved again that Commodore Amiga had a leading position in the early 90’s. The company launched an complete VR system in 1992-93 based on it’s own hardware for over $ 15,000. The Commodore Amiga version is a rarity and the software never got cracked.
