Amiga version of Mario in development using the Scorpion game engine

Amiga developer Erik Hogan announced Mario for Commodore Amiga computers with 68020 CPU. The game has been developed using the beta version of the Scorpion game engine. The release will include six levels of the original game and will be released under the name of Amigo because of copyright and trademark issues. The original game is a Japanese platform video game series created by Nintendo and featuring their mascot, Mario. At least one Super Mario game has been released for every major Nintendo video game console. There have also been a number of Super Mario video games released on non-Nintendo gaming platforms.
