Commander Keen in Keen Dreams is a side-scrolling platform video game developed by id Software and published by Softdisk in 1991 for DOS. The game is finally ported to Commodore Amiga! It is the fourth episode of the Commander Keen series. The developers of the game, are the famous programmers John Carmack and John Romero. Keen Dreams sees you venturing through the vegetable kingdom, jumping on platforms, riding mine carts and avoiding enemies. The combat mechanics are less typical. You can’t stomp on foes – you must collect flower pellets which, when fired at an enemy, will briefly stun them. Enemies also don’t just roam on fixed paths either, as with most games of the time, they will sense your presence and ‘home’ towards you.
