September 2011: Acube Systems introduced the AmigaOne 500

ACube Systems proudly presented the first AmigaOne since 2005 on September 19th 2011: the AmigaOne 500. The AmigaOne 500 was based on the Sam460 motherboard and offerd a single core 1.15 GHz PowerPC processor, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, 500 GB HD and support for the PCIe Radeon 4650 graphics card and several others. In January 2015, Acube Systems started selling AmigaOne 500 computers based on the Sam460cr motherboard, a cost reduced version of original Sam460ex. The AmigaOne 500 was also capable of running AmigaOS 4.1, MorphOS and several Linux distros. The computer system enjoyed some succes in the Amiga Community.
